We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you interact with our website, such as when you subscribe to our newsletter or contact us through our contact form. The types of personal information we may collect include your name, email address, and any other information you choose to provide.

In addition, we may automatically collect certain information about your device and usage of our website through cookies and other tracking technologies. This information may include your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and other usage information.

Use of Information

We may use the information we collect for various purposes, including:

  • To provide and maintain our website.
  • To personalize your experience on our website.
  • To analyze how visitors use our website and improve our content.
  • To communicate with you, including responding to your inquiries and sending you newsletters and other promotional materials.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

Disclosure of Information

We may share your personal information with third-party service providers that assist us in operating our website, such as hosting providers and email service providers. We may also share your information with third-party advertising partners, such as Google AdSense, to display advertisements on our website. Please note that some of these third-party service providers, including Google, may be located in countries outside of your own, including the United States. By using our website and providing your information to us, you consent to the transfer of your data to these countries, including the United States, where data protection and privacy regulations may differ from those in your own country.

Additionally, we may disclose your information in the following circumstances:

  • To comply with applicable laws and regulations.

  • To protect our rights, property, or safety, or the rights, property, or safety of others.

Information Collected by Google Services

Our website uses Google Analytics and Google AdSense, which may store information on your browsing activity when you visit our site. This information may include:

  • Limited browser information: This includes your browser's width and height, which Google retains for up to 9 months.
  • Partially anonymized IP address: Certain portions of your IP address are stored by Google for up to 9 months. This helps Google understand general location information but does not uniquely identify you.
  • Cookies: Google Analytics and AdSense use cookies to store information about your visit. These cookies may store data for up to 18 months.
  • Backup data: For up to 6 months, Google may store anonymized data for disaster recovery purposes.

Please note: We do not control the data practices of Google. You can find more information within Google's data retention policies.

Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on our website. Google may use cookies and other tracking technologies (including your IP address) to collect information about your use of our website and other websites in order to provide targeted advertisements to you. Google may also forward collected data to the USA. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ad Settings page and by declining the use of cookies on this site.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to analyze how visitors use our website. Google Analytics uses cookies and other tracking technologies to collect information about your use of our website, such as which pages you visit and how long you spend on each page. This information helps us improve our website and provide a better user experience.

YouTube

Our site uses the provider YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, represented by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, for embedding videos. Usually, when you visit a page with embedded videos, your IP address is sent to YouTube and cookies are installed on your computer. However, we have embedded our YouTube videos using the extended privacy mode (in this case, YouTube still contacts the DoubleClick service from Google, but according to Google's privacy policy, personal data is not evaluated). As a result, YouTube no longer stores information about visitors unless they watch the video. If you click on the video, your IP address will be transmitted to YouTube, and YouTube will know that you have watched the video. If you are logged into YouTube, this information will also be associated with your user account (you can prevent this by logging out of YouTube before viewing the video).

We have no knowledge of or influence on the possible collection and use of your data by YouTube. For more information, please refer to YouTube's privacy policy at Google Privacy & Terms.

Affiliate Links

We participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites. This means that we may earn a commission when you click on or make purchases via affiliate links provided in our blog articles. The information collected through these affiliate links may be used by Amazon and its partners in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

Your Choices

You can choose to disable cookies in your web browser settings. Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of our website.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in order to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
